We fix a range of Nintendo gaming systems including TV consoles and handheld products. So whether you need your 3DS, 3DSXL or Wii console repaired, we can help. Most of our gaming clients prefer to drop off their equipment at our workshop in Hertfordshire. Another option is to carefully package and mail us the items that need to be fixed.
Nintendo Console Problems
Is a disc stuck in your Nintendo Wii? Is your Nintendo Entertainment System refusing to display an image? Perhaps you’ve noticed a 002 error message. There are a number of signs that can indicate the need for Nintendo repairs.
Additional symptoms may include:
- The console freezes
- It turns on but doesn’t show a picture
- The disc doesn’t spin
- There are clicking noises when you are playing games
- The device is not registering a disc
We offer Nintendo repairs for the following products:
- Nintendo Wii
- Nintendo Wii U
Nintendo Handheld Repair
We also offer repair services for some Nintendo handheld devices. Currently, we can diagnose and fix:
- DS Lite
- DSI
- DSI XL
- 3DS,
- New 3DS
- New 3DS XL
- 2DS
The following symptoms may indicate repairs are needed on your handheld device:
- It automatically shuts off during a game
- It won’t power up
- The device has trouble reading games
- One or more games are not recognising recent updates
- It is unable to read AR cards
- Error codes appear
- There are image problems
- The microphone will not register voice
- The touchscreen isn’t responding
There may be additional issues other than what is listed and any of these symptoms do not necessarily indicate a serious problem. For example, if a game cartridge is not recognised, it may be because there is debris in the device or game slot. A 3DS that fails to turn on may have a battery that is inadequately charged or defective. These are straightforward fixes that need not take too much time away from your gaming.
At times, these issues require more significant repairs. At Acomputerfield, we have been diagnosing and fixing gaming systems for over a decade. In the simplest terms, we will explain the issue and let you know how it can be fixed.
